Three short steps help you add the bot, choose protection and confirm that everything is working.

STEP 01

Invite the bot

Choose your Discord server and review every requested permission before approving the invite.

  • You need permission to manage the server.
  • Only approve permissions you understand.
  • Keep NyxSec's role below your owner and trusted admin roles.
STEP 02

Choose protection

Start with the core rules, then add exceptions for trusted roles, users and bots.

  • Enable anti-raid and anti-spam first.
  • Add trusted moderation roles.
  • Review destructive actions before enabling automation.
STEP 03

Test and review

Confirm that logs reach the correct channel and that your team knows where to find incidents.

  • Check the configured log channel.
  • Run only safe tests on a server you control.
  • Adjust thresholds if normal activity is flagged.
