Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of NyxSec, including our Discord bot, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By adding NyxSec to a server or using our dashboard, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times. You must be authorized to manage the server (owner or a member with sufficient permissions) to configure NyxSec on it.

2. Description of Service

NyxSec provides automated security tooling for Discord servers, including but not limited to anti-raid, anti-nuke, anti-spam, scam and phishing detection, quarantine and auto-restore systems, and related logging and monitoring features.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use NyxSec to facilitate harassment, doxxing, or illegal activity
Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or abuse the bot's detection or automation systems
Use NyxSec to circumvent Discord's own moderation or security systems
Resell, rebrand, or redistribute the Service without written permission
Overload or abuse the Service's infrastructure, including excessive API calls or automation abuse

4. Automated Actions

NyxSec takes automated moderation actions (mutes, kicks, bans, quarantines, permission reverts) based on configured rules and detection thresholds. You are responsible for reviewing and configuring these settings for your server.

While we design our detection systems to minimize false positives, no automated system is perfect. Server admins remain responsible for reviewing security logs and correcting any misclassified actions.

5. Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. NyxSec may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, Discord API outages, or factors outside our control.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, for a specific server or account, if these Terms are violated or if the Service is used in a way that risks harm to other users or communities.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that NyxSec will detect or prevent every threat, raid, or attack.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NyxSec and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including loss of data, server access, or roles.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
